Where's BoCoCa?

You may not know it, but BoCoCa is right here in Brooklyn. Originally known collectively as South Brooklyn, or “the other side of Atlantic Avenue,” when the Brooklyn influx began, the media began referring to neighborhood names like Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Red Hook and most recently, Columbia Street Waterfront District. These neighborhoods have informal boundaries and they all share the highly desirable qualities of Brownstone Brooklyn. Around 2004, BoCoCa was born as the very trendy area that includes the neighborhoods of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens. It’s been happening slowly but it seems to be catching on. Wikipedia has a BoCoCa entry, and if that doesn’t make it legit, what does? For the mobile set, BoCoCa is much easier to tweet and text!

If you want to live in BoCoCa, just tell us. We know where it is; it’s been our neighborhood for years!
